Day 1: Airport Nikola Tesla – Belgarde (D) – approx 20 km
Arrival at Belgrade Airport. Meeting with the guide and transfer to the hotel to check in and short rest. Welcome gala dinner will be organized in Milosev konak, national restaurant, used for personal purposes by Milos Obrenovic, the prince of Serbia. In recent decades, this restaurant was visited by the most eminent foreign and local personalities. Typical Serbian evening with traditional food, music and folklore dance. Enjoying the beautiful taste of surrounded with the old and traditional sounds of Serbia and professional folk dancers you will face the unique experience, one and only in Belgrade, complete and unforgettable. Day 2: Belgrade (BLD) approx 30 km
After the breakfast, meeting with the guide and visit the biggest park in Belgrade – Kalemegdan Park and Kalemegdan Fortress. Gorgeous view from the lookout at the confluence of the Sava and Danube and Novi Belgrade is an excellent place for photographing. After that, continue walking to the old city of Belgrade (pedestrian zone): Knez Mihailova Street all the way to Republic Square up next to the National Museum and Theatre. After walking tour, the bus will take you to the coast of the Danube where you will embark on a boat. Cruising the Danube and Sava rivers will tell you a story about Belgrade in a special way. With lunch and a beautiful view of the city from the river this cruising Belgrade will bring you whole new experience. Across Belgrade’s central square Terazije, you will visit the largest Orthodox temple in the Balkans, Saint Sava Temple, which was built in the Serbo-Byzantine style and including the cross on top of the dome, it is 82 meters high. After the temple, visit House of Flowers (resting place of former Yugoslav president Josip Broy Tito and its part of the Museum od Yugoslav History complex). After the tour some free time for individual activities. Dinner in the most beautiful bohemian part of Belgrade, known as Skadarlija. This part of town will take you back few hundred years in past. Fantastic food, best wines and tambourine music will fulfill your experience. Return to the hotel, overnight in 4* hotel in Belgrade.
3 Day: Belgarde – Maradik – Krusedol Monastery – Sremski Karlovci –Novi Sad – Belgarde (BLD) approx 205 km
In the morning hours, after the breakfast departure to Novi Sad, the second largest city in Serbia. Trip to National Park Fruska Gora which is located in north part of Serbia, called „Serbia Athos“ beacuse of 17 Serbian monasteries and you will visit the most beautiful one – Krusedol Monastery, the most important place during the history of Serbian people. Lunch in nice restaurant on the Danube shore near Sremski Karlovci, and after lunch sightseeing of this small baroque town on Fruska Gora slopes which is the most famous for its georgous vioneyards and most quality wines. Wine tasting and snack in one traditional family wine cellar. Departure to Petrovaradin where you will visit Petrovaradin Fortress, built in the 18th century, one of the largest, most complex and best preserved artillery bastions in this part of Europe, which is proclaimed acultural heritage property and a cultural and historical complex of great importance. Sightseeing walking tour in the centre of Novi Sad: Name of Mary Church, Zmaj Jovina and Dunavska Street, Patriarch’s Palace, the Chathedral Church and Danube Park. Dinner in one of the restaurant in the centre in Novi Sad. Return to Belgrade at evening hours. Overnight in 4* hotel in Belgrade.
4 Day: Belgrade – Smederevo Fortress – Viminacium –Silver Lake –(BLD) approx 150 km
After the breakfast at the hotel, departure to Smederevo, one of the fortified cities- fortresses not only in Serbian but in Europe and was the last capital of Medieval Serbia. Visit the Smederevo Fortress which was declared a national Monument of Culture of Exceptional Importance and was places on the tentative list for possible nomination as a World Heritage Site (UNESCO). Visit to Viminacium, the location of the first and the largest archaeological excavation in Serbia. After the lunch, continue trip to Silver Lake. Check in into the hotel and some free time for refreshment. Dinner in one of the restaurants on the lake. Overnight at 4* hotel.
Day 5 Silver Lake – Lepenski Vir – Donji Milanovac – Djerdap – Kladovo (BLD) approx 160 km
After the breakfast, departure to Lepenski Vir, an important archeological site with remains of a settlement from the Mesolithic era, with the remains of over 136 houses of an early settled hunter gatherer Cro Magnion group. Continuing of the tour along the Danube toward Donji Milanovac and visiting „Open Air Gallery“ on Djerdap Lake. Lunch in a beautiful enviroment and gethering with the naive sculptor, the host. Boat ride from Donji Milanovac to Tekije, most beautiful part of Iron Gate (it lasts 2 hours. Bus will take the group further from Tekije to Kladovo. Departure to Kladovo, check in at the 4* hotel on the Danube shore. Dinner in the hotel restaurant. Overbnight in 4* hotel in Kladovo.
Day 6: Kladovo – Zajecar – Felix Romuliana – Vrnjacka Spa (BLD) approx 280 km
After the breakfast at the hotel, departure to Zaječar, where the group will visit most important sights, including National Museum, with excibits connected to Felix Romuliana. Visit to Felix Romuliana, archaeological site near Zajecar which represents the ancient Roman imperial palace and its on the World Heritage List. We will pass through famous wineregion, where we will take you in one of most famous wineries for a wine tasting and lunch. Arrival and check in into a resort in Vrnjacka Spa. Some free time for refreshment. Dineer in one of the restaurants in the spa. Overnight in 4* resort.
Day 7: Vrnjacka Spa – Zica Monastery – Zlatibor (BLD) approx 190 km
After breakfast in the hotel, departure to visit Zica Monastery , which was the seat of the Archbishop (1219–1253), and by tradition the coronational church of the Serbian kings, although a king could be crowned in any Serbian church, he was never considered a true king until he was anointed in Zica. Departure to Zlatibor mountain and on its way, stop to Sirogojno, ethno village and open-air museum covering almost 5 ha with authentic elements of ordinary life collected from oll over the Ylatibor region from the 19th century. This ethno village diplays a set of traditional wooden buuildings, including a bakery, a dairy, and an inn, all in authentic form, and wa declared a Monument of Culture of Exceptional Importnace. Lunch in this beautiful village where you will try most delicious Serbian cuisine. Arrival at Zlatibor, check in into the hotel and some free time for refreshment. Dinner in one of the mountain restaurants. Overnight at 4* hotel on this amazing mountain.
Day 8: Zlatibor – Sargan Eight – Mokra Gora – Mecavnik – Zlatibor (BLD) approx 90km
After early breakfast, an enjoyable journey by train going through beautiful countryside not far away from Zlatibor and Tara mountains. The train is called „Sargan Eight“ or „Figure of Eight“ which is narrow railroad shaped as number eight. The large elevation change in so short distance will leave you breathless. Arrival at Mokra Gora, visit and lunch in Mecavnik, ethno village which was created by well-known movie director, Emir Kusturica. Way back to Zlatibor and some free time in the afternoon. Dinner in one of the restaurants. Overnight at 4* hotel.
Day 9: Zlatibor –Topola –Oplenac –Beogard (BLD) approx 240km
Leaving this part of Serbia just after an early breakfast in the hotel on Zlatibor. Trip to Sumadija, the heart of Serbia. Stop to have a lunch in authentic local ambient with beautiful view on this region. Arrival in Topola and sightseeing tour of Topola and Oplenac, picturesque landscapes with endless clearing, valleys in the heart of Serbia which used to be holiday resorts and the place where the Serbian kings of the Karadjordjevic Dynasty were being buried. You will visit a Memorial Collection of King Peter the First, including Saint George’s Church and the Mausoleum od Karadjordjevic dynasty which is located on top of Oplenac Hill, in town of Topola. Also you will visit King Peter’s House – Gallery with private his private things as well as King Alexandar, Town of Karadjordje (built between 1911 – 1913 with personal goods and authentical weapons from the First Serbian Insurrection) and the Royal wine cellar. Return to Belgrade in the evening hours and dinner in one of the restaurants. Overnight in 4* hotel in Belgrade.
Day 10: Belgrade – Airport (B) approx 20 km
Breakfast at the hotel. Checking out from the hotel. Transfer to the airport.
