Vojvodina is known by its messauges – authentic local farms, popular salaši on Serbian language. We will visit one of the most popular and beautiful messauges in this area, known as the Pannonian oasis that exudes an authentic atmosphere of Vojvodina’s farm. The athmosphere of the farms from the late 19th century has been carefully preserved.  You will notice in every corner of the estate a multitude of decorative items and furniture that were once used. These farms are the real hedonism oasis with delicious slow food.

In the most famous traditional farm restaurant near Novi Sad you can enjoy local food and drink with the Vojvodina ethnic music. Restaurants and caffees

Novi Sad has many amazing restaurants with delicious food and great atmosphere. We are kindly suggesting the best ones!

 Aqua Doria restaurant

All aboard for romance, river views and rich fish dishes! Bobbing in the shadow of Petrovaradin Fortress, this beautiful barge restaurant is popular with locals looking to splurge on exquisitely prepared čorba (fish stew), smoked fish and other Danube delights. Impeccable service, top-notch rakija (fruit brandy), sublime views and live tamburaši (musicians playing mandolin-like instruments) make meals here utterly memorable.

Piknik bar & restaurant

This utterly charming restaurant by the Danube ladles out hearty Vojvodinian cuisine to an appreciative crowd of city slickers, jolly fishers and local families (who visit as much for the wonderful on-site playground and petting zoo as for the grub). The amusing menu alone makes this happy place worth the trip.

Replete with hay bales and knick-knackery, Lazina Bašta serves up country-mouse cuisine on the most happening street in town. Don’t be surprised if you find a violin in your ear; they love their tamburaši (musicians playing mandolin-like instruments) here.
