Activities and tour description

1st Day. Belgrade  -Smederevo – Ram – Veliko Gradiste – Golubac – Djerdap Gorge – Donji

Milanovac – Kladovo. (Meeting passengers) Passengers arrive at the Port of Belgrade (Karadjordjeva street, next to the Branko’s Bridge) at 7:30 a.m. Aquastar Maxim cruiser departs at 8am. Cruise starts from the famous Belgrade fortress towards Kladovo, passing by Smederevo, the confluence of the Morava and Danube rivers, medieval fortress Ram, in the area where the Danube is the widest in Serbia. Cruise continues then to the Silver Lake and Veliko Gradiste. Passing by Golubac Fortress we enter the National Park Djerdap area, also known as the Iron Gate. We cruise through the longest and deepest gorge in Europe where Danube River is the most beautiful. Arriving in Donji Milanovac after 7,5 hours cruising. Bus transfer to Kladovo. Accommodation at the Hotel “Aquastar Danube”. Dinner. Overnight.

2nd Day. Kladovo – Breakfast. Free time for using hotel services (Spa & Wellness) or optional  excursions:

OPTIONAL EXCURSION 1 (4h) – Archaeological Museum in Kladovo, Traian’s Bridge, Hydroelectric Power Plant Djerdap I – Winery  Soul of Danube with wine tasting and snack. Price: 15eur

OPTIONAL EXCURSION 2 (6h) – Vratna gates and Vratna Monastery – Wine cellars at Rajac village with wine tasting and lunch included. Price: 25 eur

3rd Day. Kladovo – HP Djerdap’s Ship lock – Tabula Traiana – Decebal – Mali and Veliki Kazan – Donji Milanovac – Lepenski Vir – Viminacium – Beograd.

Breakfast. Departure at 9 a.m. Boarding passengers at the Kladovo Port, sailing through the biggest Ship locks in Europe. Passing Tekija, you will have the opportunity to visit the place where the Roman Emperor Trajan left a permanent imprint on the rock, known as Tabula Traiana. Disembark at Donji Milanovac Port at 1 p.m. The journey continues by bus. Arriving at the archaeological site Lepenski vir, which was known as one of the oldest European and world urban settlements. The journey continues on towards Belgrade, with a short stop at the Golubac Fortress. The fortress was built in mid-14th century, and was many times demolished and rebuilt as a border fortress between Serbia, Hungary and Turkey. Next stop is Vimacium, built in the 1st century as one of the first Roman military camps on the Danube River. This is where the official sightseeing and program ends and after a short drive, arrival in Belgrade is expected in the early evening.

HB – Half Board. Children up to 10 y.o. are free of charge. Third adult person pays full price in triple room (upon inquiry).

Children under ten years old travel for free. Children from 10-12 years old have to pay 30 eur.
