Vojvodina lunch with folklore program 2 hours

Familiarize yourself with the rich diversity of Vojvodina through music, food, customs, tradition and culture of various peoples living in these areas.

Taste various Vojvodina dishes of Serbian, Slovak, Ukrainian and Hungarian cuisine.

Enjoy a folklore program in duration of 45 minutes, minimum 8 players (4 adults paar) that would change costumes during the performances four times in order to successfully portray the colors of the musical temperament of the Vojvodina region (if they don’t have similar program in Belgrade, than could be costumes from Vojvodina and Serbia).

Sightseeing of Novi Sad and the Petrovaradin fortress 3.5 hours

Three and a half hour sightseeing of Novi Sad and the Petrovaradin fortress by bus and on foot. During the tour we will see the Name of Mary Church, Zmaj Jovina Street, pedestrian area of Novi Sad, Patriarch’s Palace, the Cathedral Church, the Dunavska Street and the Dunavski Park… We will cross over one of the bridges in the city by bus, and visit Petrovaradin fortress, “the Gibraltar of the Danube”. This is one of the many fortresses on the Danube, where numerous galleries and artists’ studios can be seen.

After the tour, during the free time, you will be able to visit some of the museums of the city. Novi Sad City Museum, Museum of Vojvodina, some of the galleries (Paul Beljanski Memorial Collection, Gallery of Matica Serbian …)

Option I: On this three and a half hours tour, add lunch on Petrovaradin Fortress with beautiful view on Danube River and try Vojvodina’s traditional specialties.

Option II: On this three and a half hours tour, add lunch with folklore dance on Petrovaradin Fortress with beautiful view on Danube River. During this lunch you will taste different Vojvodina’s specialties and enjoy in beautiful sounds and dance of Vojvodina’s folkore dance ensemble.

Duration of the lunch with folklore dance: 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Option III: Visit to the one of the most interesting places in Novi Sada and take a refreshment. The pleasant atmosphere of restaurant Giardino, which is located at the roof of the shopping mall, will make fantastic view on Novi Sad from the bird perspective.

Option IV: Visit Musem of city of Novi Sad on Petrovaradin Fortress where you will have opportunity to see two exhibitions. One is archeological and another one is exhibition of civil furniture from  XVIII and XIX century. There is also posibility to visit underground millitary tunels.

Option V: Visit Museum of Vojvodina in the center of Novi Sad

Option VII: Visit Square Gallery where are located three major galleries in the town of Novi Sad. Here you can visit Paul Beljanski Memorial Collection, Gallery of Matica Serbian and Gallery of fine art – gift collection of Rajko Mamuzic

Notes: Coaches are not allowed to drive up to the Petrovaradin Fortress. Passengers will have to walk approx 30 minutes one way. Shoulders and legs should be covered when entering religious buildings. Strenuous walking included.

Novi Sad – Monastery Krušedol 4 hours

During the four hours of Novi Sad sightseeing by bus and walking tour we will see Name of Mary Church, Zmaj Jovina street, pedestrian area of Novi Sad, Patriarch’s Palace, the Cathedral Church, the Dunavska Street and the Dunavski Park. Many of the Serbian artists lived and created in this city on the Danube shores. Bus tour will continue to the Monastery Krusedol, that is another symbol of culture and tradition of the Serbian people, which is located on Mount Fruska Gora (“Serbian Athos”). The monastery exists for more than 500 years and it was founded by family Brankovic. It was one of the most important places during the history of Serbian people. After visiting the monastery we will return to the place of departure.

On this tour where we will have a ride by bus and walk on foot, you will have the opportunity to see a small baroque town Sremski Karlovci which still keeps the tradition of making and tasting wine. In this town a significant places worth visiting include Residence of Bishop of Srem, the oldest high school in the area, Fountain “Four Lions”, the Cathedral, the Seminary… you will also visit one of the most important Serbian monastery on Mountain Fruska Gora which is also called “Serbian Athos.” The monastery exists for more than 500 years and it was founded by family Brankovic. It was one of the most important places during the history of Serbian people. On the slopes of Fruska Gora, in a small village, you will taste traditional Vojvodina meals in one of the most popular wine celler.

Meet the tradition of the Slovak nation that has preserved its traditions and culture in the area of Backi Petrovac. During the trip we will depart from Novi Sad by bus, than we will visit a beer museum in Celarevo and Agricultural Museum. In Kulpin village we will see the castle Dunđerski, which is built by a family Dunđerski. This tour will finish with a tasting of Slovak specialties in traditional Slovak house in Backi Petrovac. By returning in Novi Sad we will have 30 minutes of sightseeing of the city and 30 minutes free time to shopping.
