On this 15-days tour, we’ll take you through Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia, and Slovenia, and show you the incredible natural beauties and top-destinations of these five former Yugoslav republics. 

 

Day 1

Belgrade (D)

Arrival at Belgrade Airport. Transfer to the hotel and welcome drink in 4* hotel. Sightseeing the main touristic attractions. Visiting the House of Flowers, a resting place of the former president of Yugoslavia, Josip Broz Tito. Later, we’ll take you to the oldest part of Belgrade – Skadarlija, well-known for its tambourine music and great restaurants. Traditional Serbian dinner. Overnight in Belgrade.

Day 2

Belgrade – Monastery Krusedol – Sremski Karlovci – Novi Sad – Belgrade (BL)

After breakfast, we’ll take you to the Vojvodina region. You’ll first visit the famous Krusedol monastery, then, have a wine tasting in Sremski Karlovci, one of the most beautiful baroque cities in Serbia, and finally, visit Novi Sad. Lunch in a local Vojvodinian restaurant with delicious food. Free time until evening. Return to Belgrade.

Day 3

Belgrade – Zlatibor (BL)

After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll take you to the Šumadija, the region in the heart of Serbia. Visit the Oplenac, the Mausoleum of the Serbian and Yugoslav Royal House of Karađorđević located on top of the Hill Oplenac. Lunch in a cozy Serbian restaurant. Arrival at Zlatibor, the most attractive and best-visited mountain in the country. Free time. Overnight in 4* hotel.

Day 4

Zlatibor – Žabljak (BD)

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Montenegro. Arrival at Zabljak, the city with the highest altitude of the Balkans (1.456 m). The place is located in the middle of Durmitor National Park. Free time. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 5

Žabljak – Podgorica – Budva (BD)

After breakfast, we continue to Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro. Shortstop for sightseeing. After that, we’ll continue towards the most beautiful place on the Adriatic Coast – Budva. Check-in at the 4*hotel. Sightseeing tour and dinner in a cozy fish restaurant by the sea.

Day 6

Budva – Dubrovnik (BD)

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Dubrovnik. Arrival and check-in. Sightseeing tour of the most famous and most beautiful city on the Croatian coast. Free time and dinner in a nice restaurant with a beautiful view. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7

Dubrovnik –  Mostar – Sarajevo (BL)

Breakfast at the hotel. Free time in Dubrovnik. Ride to Mostar, stop for a sightseeing tour.  Free time in this famous historic city. Lunch in a traditional Bosnian restaurant. Arrival in Sarajevo. Overnight in a 3* hotel in the city center.

 Day 8

Sarajevo (BD)

After breakfast follows a sightseeing tour of Sarajevo. Visit the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Free time for individual exploring. Dinner in the restaurant in Baščaršiija where guests will taste the most famous specialties from this part of the Balkans. Overnight at the hotel in Sarajevo.

Day 9

Sarajevo – Zagreb (BD)

After breakfast, depart to Zagreb (min. 5 hrs drive), transfer to the hotel, accommodation in 4* Hotel in Zagreb. Dinner and overnight.

Day 10

 Zagreb (BD)

After breakfast guided Zagreb City tour – free time to strolling around through the city on your own and have lunch in one of the authentic Croatian restaurants in the city center. After lunch, drive to Samobor (half an hour drive from ZG) – City guided tour including a “kremšnita” cake and tasting of Bermet (it is a red aromatic wine made from selected sorts of grapes, wormwood and southern fruit). (Duration ca. 4 hrs).

Day 11

Zagreb – Plitvice NP – Zagreb (BL)

After breakfast, a whole day excursion to National Park Plitvice lakes follows. This National Park was added to the UNESCO World Heritage register. Lunch in a cozy domestic restaurant. Free time and evening return to Zagreb .

Day 12

Zagreb – Ljubljana (BL)

After breakfast drive to Ljubljana – capital city of Slovenia. (2,5 – 3 hrs drive) Upon arrival, a city tour with Spanish speaking local guide.  Free Time. In the afternoon check in to 3* Hotel. Dinner in a nice restaurant in the city center. Overnight.

Day 13

Ljubljana – Bled – Ljubljana (BL)

After breakfast, departure to Bled (ca. 1 h drive), a Slovenian resort town in the foothills of the Julian Alps is set along the glacial Lake Bled. Enjoy the city tour with Spanish speaking local guide and drive with Pletna boat to Bled island to visit Bled Castle. Lunch in a restaurant in Bled. Return and overnight in Ljubljana.

Day 14

Ljubljana – Zagreb (BL)

After breakfast, departure to Postojna where we’ll take you to visit two world-famous tourist attractions within one park. (ca. 1 h drive) Visit the Postojna Cave and the Castle. Lunch in a restaurant near the Postojna Cave. Departure to Zagreb (ca. 2.5 hrs drive). Check in to 4* Hotel. Overnight.

Day 15

Zagreb – Airport (B)

Check-out from the hotel; transfer to the Airport by bus.
