Visit the Devil’s Town and National Park Kopaonik, with a tour of Kursumlija, wine tasting in Aleksandrovac and a walk in the romantic Vrnjacka spa.

Day 1

Belgrade – Devil`s town – Kopaonik mountain

Departure from Belgrade. First of all, we will drive south to the town of Kuršumlija, where we will visit a church from the 12th century, build by Serbian grand prince Stefan Nemanja. It is dedicated to St. Nicholas. Continuing towards Devil`s town and visit this unique natural wonder, which was a serious contented for the final round of „New 7 Wonders of Nature“ in 2011. It consists of a group of narrow stone figures (2 to 15 meters high and ½ to 3 meters wide) with large stone „caps“ on the top. The figures were a result of specific erosive processes that lasted for centuries and continued to grow, change, and reshape.

Over the years, the process repeats itself, so each visit to this park is a unique experience. This phenomenon is very rare to find in the world and can be seen only in Serbia. The tour lasts about 90 minutes. There is a restaurant in the park where we’ll have free time for lunch. Do not hesitate to try the local specialty – The Devil`s skewer! After the lunch break, the day continues with a drive to Kopaonik Mountain. Arrival at the hotel. Overnight.

Day 2

Kopaonik – Župa – Vrnjačka spa – Belgrade

Breakfast (buffet). A walk through a hiking path (15 minutes per direction) to Mark’s Rock Viewpoint. Leaving the hotel and departure towards Aleksandrovac in Župa region, which is often called „the Champagne of Serbia“, because of its wine-suitable climate. Wine tasting and a luncheon in one of the domestic wineries near Aleksandrovac. Then, we’ll go to the Vrnjačka Spa, which was a place of healing even during the Roman Empire. It has 7 natural springs with healing properties and it is also the place which started the tradition of „locking“ your love by putting a lock with your and the name of the person you love on a bridge railing. A walk through the pedestrian zone and free time for enjoying the quaint atmosphere. An optional carriage ride through the park. Departure towards Belgrade. Arrival around 9.30 PM.

Free cancellation is possible within a period that is longer than 45 days from the start of the tour, and in case of illness with proper medical documentation.

Children

Children under four years of age do not pay arrangements unless they use their own bed and seat on the bus. The price for children under 12 years old is 4.750 dinars accompanied by two adults.

Deals

The minimum for this tour is 25 passengers. The organizer keeps the right, in case of an insufficient number of passengers to cancel the trip or to change the prices. Supplement for departure from Novi Sad is 750 dinars with a minimum of 10 passengers. Departure is from the parking lot in front of the Hotel Sajam (near the restaurant Zlatna Medalja).

Payment

You need to pay 30% while booking, the rest at least 15 days before the tour.
