Day 1
Belgrade (D) (approx. 25 km)
Arrive in Belgrade. Transfer to the hotel and accommodation. Overnight.
Day 2
Belgrade (BD) (approx. 20 km)
After breakfast, enjoy a half-day walking tour of Belgrade. The tour includes Kalemegdan Fortress, Republica Square and Knez Mihailova Street, the main pedestrian zone and shopping center. Visit Terazije, Parliament, St. Marco’s Church, St. Sava Temple and the Royal Palace. Enjoy a traditional dinner featuring national specialties in Skadarlija, the city’s bohemian district. Overnight.
Day 3
Belgrade – Zlatibor – Mecavnik – Sargan Eight – Sarajevo (Bosnia) (BD) (approx. 330 km)
After breakfast, departure for Zlatibor Mountain follows. During the journey, you’ll visit Mecavnik, the traditional village created by the well-known film director Emir Kusturica. Then, you’ll enjoy a steam-powered train journey through the breathtaking mountain vistas of Zlatibor and Tara National Park. Departure for Sarajevo and accommodation in a hotel. After a short break, take a guided tour through the city. You’ll visit the Avaz Business Tower, Ilidza and Butmir, the War Tunnel Museum, the Olympic Village, the Parliament Building, and the Marshal Tito’s barracks. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4
Sarajevo – Mostar – Dubrovnik (BD) (approx. 240 km)
After breakfast, we’ll take you to a walking tour of Sarajevo, including a visit to the City Hall, Spite House, Bascarsija Square, Sebilj Fountain, Karavan Seray, Gazi Husrev Bey’s Mosque and Madrasa, the famous Islamic school. Roam the city’s vibrant streets brimming with colorful handicrafts. Departure to Mostar where we’ll visit the reconstructed Old bridge across the Neretva River. Originally built between 1557 and 1566, this stone bridge is a key symbol of Mostar and is a UNESCO world heritage site. Departure for Dubrovnik. Accommodation in a hotel. Dinner in a national restaurant. Overnight.
Day 5
Dubrovnik (Croatia) (BD) (approx. 30 km)
After breakfast, enjoy a sightseeing tour of the oldest and most beautiful city on the Adriatic Coast. Highlights include a visit to the Rector’s Palace, the Cathedral and the Dominican Monastery. Dubrovnik is a well preserved cultural and historical heritage and is therefore inscribed on the UNESCO List of World Heritage Sites. Old Town’s street and squares are stone-paved while the architecture consists of elegant terraced houses, monasteries, churches, palaces, galleries, and museums. Free time in the afternoon to explore the city on your own. Dinner. Overnight.
Day 6
Dubrovnik – Cetinje – Budva (Montenegro) (BD) (approx. 140 km)
After breakfast, our journey continues to Montenegro. Our first stop is in Cetinje where we’ll visit the Mausoleum of Njegoš, Montenegro’s most prominent poet, writer, and diplomat. We then continue to Budva, a city on the Adriatic Coast and one of the most attractive small towns in Montenegro. The city is renowned for its beautiful bays, peninsulas, and sandy beaches. Tour the Budva Riviera, featuring the old town of Budva and its vibrant Mediterranean streets. Accommodation in a hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 7
Budva – Tivat (B) (approx. 15 km)
After breakfast, transfer to the Tivat Airport, and flight to Belgrade and your onward journey. End of program.
